The reason why Sahin-news could be good news

Today several Spanish sources claim that Nuri Sahin, who hasn't had a good time at Real Madrid, could be heading for Premier League on a loan deal.  Marca even wrote (now deleted again) that Sahin was on his way to Arsenal.

There primarily two things in this that makes me happy.

1: It would not be impossible to imagine the loan deal would come with a purchasing clause. Many of us know how extremely talented Sahin is. If we are talking loan+clause we simply minimize risk. We can see if the talent fits within Premier League and we can see if Sahin fits in at Arsenal - on as well as off the field.

2: It would be the obvious choice to send Ramsey out on a loan deal. There's a kid who clearly has got talent, but needs to learn some vital stuff before he can be useful for us. He need a hefty improvement on his defensive work ethics, where sloppy pressure and lack of tracking back has often been a huge problem for us. He also needs to be more calm on the ball and play more simple and with more patience. The number of occasions where he has lost possession is simply unacceptable - especially on a 3-man midfield.

If we see Ramsey develop properly we can end up in a situation with two good options on the hand.

My fingers are crossed - but let's of course see how much of this is the regular transfer window creativity.
